The numbers next to exercises
- Reps (repetitions) — how many times you perform the movement in a row. 12 reps = do it 12 times.
- Sets — how many rounds of those reps. "3 sets × 12 reps" = 12 movements, rest, 12 more, rest, final 12.
- Rest — the pause between sets. Resting is part of the therapy — don't skip it.
- If a weight or resistance band is prescribed, it's written with the exercise; nothing listed means body weight only.
Program structure
- Session — one day's guided workout. Press Start Session and Move8 leads you exercise by exercise; when you finish you'll see "Session done · Come back tomorrow".
- Phase — bigger programs are split into phases ("Phase 1 of 3"). Each phase has its own exercises and number of sessions; you progress to the next phase as you complete them.
- Workout focus — labels like Strength, Mobility, Balance, Stretch tell you what the program trains.
- Message from your therapist — personal guidance for this specific program; read it before the first session.
Worked example
Wall squat — 3 sets × 12 reps
Watch the video once. Do 12 squats, rest, 12 more, rest, final 12. The session player then moves you to the next exercise.
If any instruction is unclear, ask your therapist in the Messages tab — they can adjust the notes so they make sense to you.
